24 Hour Festival

Come celebrate the creative arts at the crown jewel of Downtown Fort Myers!

Visual artists, filmmakers, theatre artists, dancers, musicians, and poets race against a 24-hour clock to create unique works based on prompts given by Barry Cavin. Artists of all types and ages are invited to participate. We don’t know how creative you can be in 24 hours, but we do know you’ll have so much fun you won’t even feel the sleep deprivation. A free event!

Artists must register through our free online registration process–all guidelines are posted there.

Registered artists, filmmakers, musicians, and performers will meet at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center on Saturday, March 8th at 5:00 pm to receive the prompts, and then they have exactly 24 hours to create their art, pieces, dances, poems, films, music, songs and report back to the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center with their completed works.
