Edge of Couture: The Art of Fashion invites enthusiasts to witness a revolutionary fusion of fashion and performance art on March 14, 2025, at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center. This avant-garde fashion show will feature visionary artists and designers from Southwest Florida, transforming the traditional runway into a living canvas. The runway will be set in the gorgeous Grand Atrium Ballroom.

The spring-themed showcase exemplifies the art of fashion, which collides the freedom of artistic energy with fashion poise. From bold statements to intricate designs, this event celebrates diversity. Each performance will uniquely explore style and creativity while blurring the lines between fashion and art. Featured performance acts will be by Lacy Kelly’s Aerialist Troupe. Live house music and custom DJ mixing will be performed by DAYYLITE.

This special event is where couture becomes a dynamic expression of identity and imagination. Edge of Couture is more than a show—it’s an immersive experience that challenges the boundaries of fashion and celebrates the beauty of individuality. This year’s showcase features the debut of innovative collections from esteemed designers Angela Hicks and Jason Sanders, who collaborated on the looks of their line by ‘welding’ their ideas into wearable art. Another visionary designer showcasing her new collection for Spring 2025 will be the acclaimed Tonya Barnes. There will be a curated line exhibiting emerging designers picked by an application process. Those designers will be the first to open the show. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the runway show commences at 8:00 pm. Tickets are priced at $45, with premium runway seating available for $60. There will be a silent auction available at the start of the show. Proceeds of this event benefit the arts and education programming of the Sidney & Berne Davis Davis Art Center, a non-profit organization in the Southwest Florida community.

Karina was inducted in the Marquis Who’s Who in America directory for her professional integrity, outstanding achievements in her field, and making innumerable contributions to society. Was recognized as one of 100 Women to Know in America in 2022, won the USA’s Title Expert of the Year award consecutively from 2020 through 2024, as well as the Title Innovator Award in 2022 and 2023. Karina was named a Women of Influence in Real Estate in America and received the 40 Under 40 award by Gulf Shore Business as well as being a finalist of the 2022 Distinguished Entrepreneur award from the SBDC at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Karina is a best seller author, has been featured in numerous workshops, classes, seminars, magazines, and podcasts around the country. She is always sharing her professional expertise, educating others based on her experience as a business owner, and inspiring others to overcome adversity.

Karina’s biggest passion and commitment is giving back to her community, and she devotes her free time to volunteering, reading to children in elementary schools through her own reading program, and helping local organizations. Karina is currently a Board Member for Blessings in a Backpack and has served on many other boards for local charities.
