Dueling Pianos, an interactive music experience where the audience picks the setlist!! Dueling Pianos will feature two grand pianos placed back to back in the center of SBDAC’s Grand Atrium with audience seating in the round. Featured pianists, Pete Moran and Paul Nicodemi will take written audience suggestions for the next song in their setlist. Audience members will have a fun filled evening.

Bio’s

Paul Nicodemi hails from Detroit, MI but has lived in southwest Florida for the last 20 years. A lifetime player, Paul saw his very first Dueling Pianos show at JD’s Key Club in Pontiac, MI and could not believe the energy and talent that radiated from the stage. After meeting Tommy through a mutual musician friend, Paul knew that Dueling Pianos was destined to be his career. Paul’s major musical influence is Ben Folds, and he is often told he sings and performs like a Ben clone, which could not tickle him more. Paul’s classical piano training and diverse repertoire of both oldies and modern hits, makes him a lethal weapon on the keys!

Pete Moran is a venerated character in the Dueling Pianos world. Known for his involvement with Jellyrolls where he worked for over 10 years as entertainment director at the locations in Atlanta, Tampa, Austin, Pittsburgh, and of course, Walt Disney World. Pete started playing by ear at age 4, playing for school assemblies and class plays every year until he officially went pro at 16. He is the former keyboardist for Wild Cherry (Play That Funky Music) and has written and recorded for television. Pete brings an irresistible combination of energy and goofiness to the stage, all backed by his amazing technical skill on the keys.
