Step 2: The curator will be in touch with you if your pieces are accepted in the show. 

Step 3: Selected designers must make a commitment to be at scheduled fittings, rehearsals, and the day of the show.

Step 4: Invite friends and family to purchase tickets and enjoy the show!

What are we looking for?

This featured line will be a curation of completed works from fashion enthusiast and artists. You can submit pieces such as dresses with painted works of art, found objects turned into bold street-wear, or wow-factor couture looks that deserve a moment in the spotlight. Submit up to 4 pieces or share your line to be considered for future runway shows! Only a select number of pieces will be considered for this wearable art line. 

Please Note: If you can not make a fitting, rehearsal, or attend the entire day of the show then you are subject to not qualifying. Pre-approved absences or a change in arrival time may be considered. 

Model Casting Call Details: (Audition Dates are over but you can still be considered) 

• Audition Dates Complete. Fill out the form to be considered to be a model understudy.

• Location of Event: Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, 2301 First St. Fort Myers, 33901

• Edge of Couture fashion show is not a paid position. 

Eligibility Rules:

1. Age Requirement: Models must be at least 14 years old. If under 18, a signed parent or guardian permission form is required. Models 16 and under must have a parent or guardian present at all times.

2. Selection Process: Not all models who audition will be guaranteed a spot in the show.

3. Online Registration: Participation in the casting call is only permitted if the online form is completed beforehand. No walk-ins will be accepted.

Requirements:

• Confidence in walking and performing on stage.

• A willingness to collaborate with designers and artists.

• Pictures and video of you will be taken during the audition. 

• Availability for fittings, rehearsals (there will be a couple rehearsals before the show), and the show date (March 14, 2025).

Fittings: Fittings are scheduled with designers once accepted into the show

Walk/Dress Rehearsal: Thursday: March 13, 2025 at 6:30 pm (Other times may be given based on designer requests)

Arrival/Day of Show: Friday: March 14, 2025 at 12:00pm (Must stay on site after hair and make-up is complete)

What to Bring/Prepare:

• Wear fitted clothing to showcase your natural shape

• Minimal makeup for a clean, natural look

• High heels
